With the new extension towards west, the aim is to open up the house and introduce the garden into the interior and thus blurr any limits between inside/outside. The idea is to create settings for different activities that take place during the 24-hours and can be enjoyed in beautiful environment. Thus it is important to create shelter from the cold Northernly wind and pedestrians passing by.
ÚTSÝNI
Með glerskálanum í vestur er markmiðið að opna húsið út og færa garðinn innfyrir dyrastafinn þannig að skilin milli inni og úti verði óskýr. Þetta er liður í hugmyndinni að skapa aðstæður fyrir ólíkar athafnir sólarhringsins sem notið er í fallegu og þægilegu umhverfi. Í þeim tilgangi verður hugsað fyrir skjóli fyrir norðan-vindinum og gangandi vegfarendum sem eiga leið um.
