The project proposes to create two bedrooms with a small living room area in the garage. The two youngsters will thus get their own private space although with a common access between them and the house through the glass pavilion that now becomes the main entrance to the house.
In this way, the arrangement encourages social relations to take place downstairs while bedrooms are arranged upstairs around the TV area which enjoys an impressive view towards Vaðlaheiðin.
NÆÐI OG FÉLAGSLEG SAMVERA
Tillagan gerir ráð fyrir að búa til tvö svefnherbergi með lítilli stofu í bílskúrnum. Tveir unglingar fá þannig næði til eigin afnota en hafa sameiginlegan inngang inn til sín með íbúðarhúsinu í gegnum glerhýsið sem verður nú aðal aðkoman að húsinu.
Á þennan hátt hvetur herbergjaskipan til félagslegra samskipta á neðri hæðinni en svefnherbergjum er fyrir komið á efri hæð ásamt setustofu með áhrifamiklu útsýni yfir í Vaðlaheiðina.
